How does it Operate?
If you run a small or medium-sized business, or operate in a sales or marketing function in a larger business, chances are that you could build your sales revenues substantially by joining a BNI chapter. Becoming a member of BNI is like having an extended team of sales people who are looking for opportunities for your business.

Astonishing results have been achieved by people from a very diverse range of businesses through involvement with BNI; you owe it to yourself, and your business, to check it out.

Please note that BNI allows only one person per business category to join each chapter, and your classification may already be taken in the chapter nearest you. In these cases, every effort will be made to place you in another suitable chapter, or you could consider starting a new BNI chapter in collaboration with your area Director. BNI meetings are held weekly, and it is expected that our members attend every meeting. In circumstances where they cannot attend, a substitute should be sent to professionally represent them at the table.

Success in BNI comes with time, and is based in the principles of reciprocity – “Givers Gain” is our motto: what goes around comes around! It is all about building relationships with your fellow chapter members, developing a good understanding of their businesses, and bringing regular contributions to the table in the form of qualified referrals, visitors, and written testimonials.

A metaphor to consider: The BNI programme is more like farming than hunting. Like the farmer’s field and crop, your referral partnerships with fellow members will need to be nurtured, and as you master the BNI system, effectively applying the tools and techniques of word-of-mouth marketing, results will happen over time.
